Movie Review: Hancock
Hancock, starring Will Smith, Charlize Theron, Jason Batemen and others does NOT disappoint. It has some wicked special effects, as well as the perfect anti-hero in Hancock. He’s a reluctant super hero with some major attitude. He gets the bad guys but at the same time, he doesn’t do a nice, tidy job of it like we’re used to in our super heroes. Buildings get smashed, cars are wiped out, it’s ugly but he gets the job done. Did I mention he drinks, stinks and does NOT like to be called an A$$HOLE?
Rated PG-13 for some ‘intense scenes of sci-fi violence, action and language’ it never crosses over the line from comic book fun - it’s suitable for children, in my opinion. Will Smith is the perfect mix of obnoxious and heroism; there’s a reason he’s so prickly. And you’ll find out when you watch the movie!
I highly recommend it as a great summer movie for the family. Also, check out the official Hancock the Movie web site - it has downloads, trailers and a sorta cool little mobile game where you FLY thru the city like Hancock ![]()
